Apple Final

I finally finished the apple(:
Today I worked on the streaks and the shape. I also fixed the shadow and the stem, I'm really proud of it(:

Today we learned how to do the texture on the apple. I started to do some of the stippling on the apple. I also added some dots. I still have to work on it on finals day but I think it looks pretty good right now(:

5-25-11Today I worked a lot more on making sure the apple is blended well. i think it looks a lot better, although I still ave a lot left to do. I am pretty proud of it right now.(:

Today I started blending the colors of the apple. I don't think it looks very good right now, but I am going to make it more blended together so it looks better. I think the hardest thing will be the texture of the apple and making it look realistic. This is a lot harder than I originally thought it was going to be.

Today I added the color to the apple and started on the shadow. Next time I am going to work on blending everything together and making the shadow better. As of right now, I am happy with how the apple has turned out.

Today I drew the apple for the project and laid out all the colors for the apple. It was very difficult to get this far...i hope it gets easier. Next time I am going to work on adding the colors and maybe start blending them together.

Blending Techniques

Today we learned a new blending technique to use with painting.  I started practicing with different brushes and different colors. I have an idea that we are going to use this type of technique on our apple, I  hope it isn't going to be as hard as it sounds.

Sphere(Final)

Today I worked on the shadow and tried to make the color of the sphere look better. It could be better, but we are out of time. With my level of experience I think it looks pretty good. I am kind of scared to do the next project.

Today I worked more on the shading of the sphere. I worked on darkening the shadow on the bottom of the sphere and making the top lighter. Next time I am going to work on the shadow and touching up smear marks on the sphere. It's going pretty good so far.

Today I worked more on the sphere. I made a lot of progress with the shading. I still have to clean it up a lot and add the shadows to make it look good, but other than that, i think it's pretty good.

I didn't really work on the house a whole lot today. I made it a little darker and added another window. It still doesn't look very haunted to me.

Ive gotten a lot done today. I worked on the grass and  the ivy on the house. Also, I added a hole in the roof, I"m not totally sure if it looks good or not. I am still deciding if I should keep it or not.

Today I worked on removing the flag from the house. I think it looks pretty good so far. As I have said before, I still have a lot left to do.

Today I worked more on the house. I am working on creating more vines and better foreground. I still have a lot to do.

Today I worked more on the windows and trying to make the house look more haunted. I still have a ways to go, but I think it's looking good so far.

Today I worked more on the ground part. Also, I added some figures to some of the windows. In the middle top window there is a creepy girl and in the bottom window 3rd from the left there is a creepy face. I think It looks pretty good so far!(:

Today I worked more on the house. I put the background in and I took out a couple of things. I also started working on the foreground. I decided to put in dirt instead of grasses or something. I still have a lot to do, but its looking good so far.

Today we started working on a new project. We are turning an old victorian house into a haunted house. This is my progress so far.

I completed more of my project today. I know that it is definitely not the best, but it is the best that I could do. It was very difficult to blend the different colors to make it look good. It doesn't look the best, but  I did my best.

Today I worked more on my project. I started blending his face into the fruit a little bit more. I still have a lot of work to do!

Today I made a lot of progress on my project. I still have a few things to do but it's looking pretty good so far. I think the only thing I need to do still is blend everything together.

I finally picked the pictures for my project. I still have to remove part of the orange. So far this project is super difficult, but I hope it will get easier.

Fruit Project

Today we started a new project. We have to put a face of someone onto a piece of fruit. As of right now I am still in the process of picking the fruit and the face. I have some chosen but I haven't put them together yet.

New Picture techniques

Today I did more techniques. The top two are supposed to be the same technique but I think the second one looks better. the last one is an airbrushing technique. Most of these techniques are pretty easy, but some of them are hard. All of the techniques above were fairly easy.

For the last two class periods we have started to do new picture techniques. The last picture shown was done last class and the first two were done today. Overall, they are pretty easy to do, with some of them the directions are a little confusing. I'd have to say that the last picture was the hardest and the middle picture was the easiest. They may be difficult to do but they look really cool.

Spider-Doo (Final)

Today I finished the Spider-Doo project! It took a long time to complete, but now it is finally done. The webbing took the longest and it was the hardest part of the process. I think the easiest was cutting out Scooby's Head. I am happy I finished the project and I am excited for the next one. (:

Today I worked more on the webbing on scooby's face. I have gotten just almost half of it done, but I have a little more left to do. It is very difficult.

Today I worked more on Spider-Doo. I put webbing on his face and started taking away all the red from the webbing. I still have to work on the eyes, but other than that it's pretty good.

Today we started a new project. We had to copy Scooby Doo's face onto the body of Spider-Man and make his face red to match. I still have some to do but it's going good overall.

Today I worked on finishing the tree on the left of the picture and touching up some things. It was a little difficult overall, but it's finally finished.

Today we started a new project. We had to take a picture of a zebra and stretch it out across a picture of a rhino. I cut out all the background of the zebra picture first, then I put the rhino picture behind it and stretched it out.

Statue of Liberty Project (Final)

This is the final product of the statue of liberty project. I successfully removed all of the blue background from the picture.

We started working on a new project today. I am working on taking the background of a picture of the statue of liberty. I'm almost done. 

Healing brush project (Final)

This is the final of the healing brush project we did. I fixed the road and part of the building behind the man and worked on the finishing touches of the picture. Overall, the project was very difficult to complete, but it is now finished(:

Today I worked on the removing the car from the picture and fixing the road. Clearly, the road still needs work. I will be continuing working on making the road better next class.

On last Thursday I started taking poles and light posts out of a picture. I also began taking part of a car out a picture. Today I will be continuing to work on the car.

Today I changed more of this man's face. First, I flattened his hair, moved his eyes up a little more, and changed the shape of his eyebrows. After that, I turned his sad expression to a happy smile. To make him look different than the real picture I also changed the thickness of his face and his neck.
